The train carries a tall magazine of domino tiles on its back. Switch it on, set it down, and it drives forward laying tile after tile in a neat standing line behind it. The slow part of dominoes, the part that used to eat twenty careful minutes before anything happened, now happens while your child watches.

That changes what the toy is actually for. When setting up is no longer the whole job, a child spends their attention on the design instead: where the line should curve, where it splits, how long it can run before something goes wrong. Knocking it down stops being the only reward on offer.

The green cactus marker is what makes routes possible. Stand it in the train's path and the train turns, so a line can bend around a rug, loop back on itself, or trace a shape across the floor. Move the marker and the whole route changes.

Sixty tiles arrive in six colours, which gives a younger child something to do long before they can plan a route. Sorting the tiles into colour groups, then stacking and standing them by hand, is ordinary fine motor work. Older children use the colours to mark sections of a long run.

Tiles reload into the tower a handful at a time, and the tower lifts out of the train when play is over, so the set packs down into three pieces rather than sixty.
